Improving Minority Rights through Strategic Litigation

The project aims to increase access to justice for religious and ethnic minorities by addressing such problems as inadequate or ineffective response of the law enforcement bodies to violations of religious freedoms, violation of religious neutrality by local government bodies in the cases of religious conflicts, barriers by the lack of knowledge of Georgian language and low awareness of legal rights by the minorities. GDI will partner with Union of Democrat Meskhs (UDM) and Georgian Regional Media Association (GRMA)
